Our Building

Within a year of its founding, the Barton County Arts Council took a big step and acquired a headquarters building. The building is both convenient and historic. The location, at 1401 Main in Great Bend, is centrally located in the heart of downtown — directly across the street from the Barton County Courthouse. The building is also historic, since it was the first stone building in Great Bend, built in 1872.

Therefore, we devote a portion of our web site to the building itself. As more information and more photographs become available, they'll be added to the site.
